Friday, January 30th the Ark Association To Rescue Kritters educated and amazed the LBB kiddos! Educators Pat VanOosten and Katie Woida, with the help of their flying friends, taught the children about what organizations like the Ark do, what life is like for the animals there, and how these animals would behave in nature. The children were thrilled to see the animals, and were absolutely in awe the whole time!
Thank you so much again to the Ark Association To Rescue Kritters for coming to our center to put on a show for us. We loved to have you over and can’t wait to host you again!
U S. Coast Guard Coastie came to visit to talk about water safety and life jackets.
Safety First!
July 15th, 2025, we had the privilege of hosting the Denton Township Fire Department, Denton Township EMS, and Roscommon Township Fire Department.
These First Responders took the time to learn our facility, the emergency exits, fire alarm and CO2 system, access doors, classroom layouts, and provide outstanding feedback.
Safety of the Children in our care, and the Staff of our Daycare, is our top priority!
We thank Chief Tiepel, Chief Williams, and Chief Dupon for allowing their teams to visit and tour.
Staff Orientation
We thank the Denton Township Fire Department for assisting in today's Orientation and getting all staff, and even a couple children visiting, trained in Fire Extinguisher use.
Also, huge thank you to the Michigan State Police and Trooper McCauley for providing an outstanding training on preparation for emergency situations.
Great day and we are so proud of the Team that we've put together.
